Eid Al Fitr is a time for the whole family to come together and celebrate the festive occasion.

The Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has organized a range of activities taking place across the city for families to enjoy.

From entertainment specials to family-friendly activities in markets and malls, here are some of the best leisure and entertainment options to experience in Dubai.

Al Seef Cultural Quarter

The cultural district of Al Seef includes a bustling street market, an authentic Emirati souk, hotel stay packages and dining offerings. Kids will also love the Museum of Illusions with its 60 visual and educational exhibits featuring holograms, optical illusions and immersive rooms designed to tease the senses and trick the mind.

Dubai Festival City Mall

The Dubai Festival City Mall will host a special concert with renowned artists: Nassif Zeytoum and Rahma Riad at the South OverFlow parking lot on May 3 at 8:30 p.m., as well as a fireworks display on the second day of Eid.

Tickets for the concert are available on Platinum List. In addition, until May 8, the Dubai Festival City Mall will host the Night Market in collaboration with Ripe by the Bay.

The Inner Emirati Village will also showcase UAE traditions such as Hakawati (storytelling) and workshops for children, traditional installations and calligraphy.

Al Khawaneej Promenade

The Al Khawaneej walk promises family and friends a week of fun-filled activities, tempting dining offerings and roving entertainment.

Dubai Dolphinarium

Culinary experiences

Fireworks to check out

On Bluewater Island, Eid celebrations will include daily traveling entertainment, henna and children’s activities every day until May 7. Fireworks will light up the sky over Ain Dubai on the second day of the festive holiday.

Spectacular fireworks will also take place at La Pointe on the first day of Eid.
