—Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen Spring Show, Renninger’s Farmers Market, 740 Noble St., Kutztown, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be more than 40 artists and craftsmen-jurors outside, under the pavilion and in their shops. Items include handmade glass, red stoneware and stoneware pottery, rug hooks, hand woven rugs, fiber art, hand-turned pens, spinnings of wood, calligraphy, polymer clay birds, folk art wood carvings, different styles of jewelry, fabric accessories, fraktur, painted furniture, primitive and country furniture, found wood, metal work, photography, chalk ware, folk art, watercolors, wheat weaving, baskets, woodworking, botanical pressed flowers.

—Strausstown Fire Company Breakfast, Strausstown Community Campus, 50 East Ave., Strausstown; 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A full breakfast menu will be available. Profits are donated to the device fund.

—Friends of the Wernersville Library Book Sale. May 10, presale, admission $5, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. May 11 and 12, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; May 13, noon to 6 p.m.; May 14, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wernersville Public Library, 100 N. Reber St., Wernersville.

— Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Native Spring Plant Sale, outside the Visitor Center, 1700 Hawk Mountain Road, Albany Township, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring nearly 100 species of trees, d grasses, ferns, shrubs and native flowering plants. All proceeds benefit Hawk Mountain’s conservation and education programs.

May 21:

—Annual Hill Church Ham Supper, 620 Hill Church Road, Pike Township, 2-6 p.m., take-out only. Tickets sold for pre-order until May 7 or sold out. Call 610-367-8114 to order. If not full, there will be a limited number of walk-in tickets available. Tickets are $12.50 or $13 with a car on credit. Meal includes ham, potato topping, gravy, Hill Church butter beans, corn, green beans, applesauce, pepper cabbage, bread and butter, ice cream .

—Leesport Area Historical Society Program, Bethany EC Church, 308 Main Street, Leesport, 7 p.m. “Pleasant Valley Lost” chronicles the final days of a family dairy farm doomed to destruction by a federal dam project. Park in the back and enter through the back of the church.

June 3:

—Sausage sandwich sale for Mount Zion Lutheran Church, pickup at New Jerusalem United Church of Christ, Route 737, Greenwich Township, $8, includes sandwich, fries and drink. Pre-order by May 29 from Janice at 610-683-7901. Pick up 4pm-7pm

June 6:
