Artist ambassador of peace, conveys a message of love through his art: Curator
Rawalpindi Division Commissioner Noor-ul-Amin Mengal said the artist is an ambassador of peace through which he conveys the message of love and tolerance through his art.
He said this while addressing a function after the inauguration of a joint painting exhibition at the Punjab Council of Arts (PUCAR) Rawalpindi. The exhibition featured works by Najam Kazmi, Aftab Ahmed Chingizi, Azeem Iqbal, Abdul Rehman Tabani, Asif Hussain, Ashraf Heera, Rehmat Ali, Muhammad Hussain, Aiman Mahmood, Adil Mahmood and Mahmood Ali.
Noor-ul-Amin Mengal said that it is a memorable experience to bring together the works of experienced and young artists in one place and it is proof that there are renowned artists in all fields of art in this country. He said that many famous artists belong to Pothohar region and they showed their creativity everywhere.
Commissioner Rawalpindi expressed particular interest in the calligraphy specimens and said that the ancient calligraphy specimens to be displayed in this exhibition hold a unique place in the world and are appreciated. He saw more than 70 paintings and calligraphies by 11 artists in the art gallery and appreciated their creativity.
